This is education, not advice

The information here is written for the general reader and does not replace a personal medical consultation. It cannot tell you whether the change in your skin is laxity, volume loss or skin quality, or whether any treatment is appropriate for your skin, your health or your circumstances.

No topical product tightens skin

Creams, serums, oils and masks can improve hydration, texture and pigment. They cannot lift or tighten skin, and no product applied to the surface rebuilds the collagen and elastin scaffold beneath it. Anything described as a tightening cream is selling an effect that does not exist.

Devices give modest improvement, and only surgery removes skin

Radiofrequency, ultrasound and microneedling firm skin a little and improve texture. The change is modest, it builds over months of sessions, and it is maintained only with repeat treatment. No device repositions tissue that has descended or removes skin that is left over; only an operation does that. Non-surgical tightening also carries its own risks, including burns, contour irregularity and pigment change.

Results vary, and none is guaranteed

Outcomes vary with skin thickness, elasticity, sun damage, healing and how much of the change is volume loss rather than laxity. Improvement is judged over months against standardised photographs. No outcome, no number of sessions and no duration of result can be promised, and no before-and-after image on this site is offered as a prediction of your own.
